My shop is in Rio de Janeiro, in the charming neighborhood of Santa Teresa. It's a very special location, being one of the oldest residential neighborhoods of the city, which emerged when the old nobility expanded upward out of the center of town. Today it's no longer a "noble" area, but much of the characteristic aura remains, and is visible in the local architecture. And it's certainly still one of the areas most connected to artisanal and artistic production. There's hardly anything nicer than being here in Santa Teresa at the end of an afternoon, especially when it comes time for the spectacular sunset. The view of the city, combined with a maroon and rose tinted sky, is truly enchanting.
I'm not the only one, however, to take advantage of this beautiful view. I have several cats, and especially one of them, Lolo, loves to spend his days and nights here in the shop. I count with its supervision and approval and, if they like an instrument to the point it want to sleep in it, I'm well on my way!
Usually, for very involved servicing, I require an appointment to be made in advance. Otherwise, I'm always on duty for emergency work.
